AUDITIONS

Masquers Theater is excited to announce open auditions for the classic Anastasia The Musical, directed by Stacey & Rachel Bresee. Children age 7 through adults of all experience levels are encouraged to audition.

Auditions will take place Friday, July 17 at 6:00 PM and Saturday, July 18 at 2:00 PM at Masquers Theater in Soap Lake. All roles are available. Those auditioning should be prepared to sing songs listed in the audition material packet—ideally one associated with the role they are pursuing—and will also participate in a cold reading. Auditions will be recorded as part of the casting process.

Video submissions are accepted until July 17 for those unable to attend in person. Callbacks, if necessary, will be held by video on July 19, and casting decisions will be finalized by July 24. Rehearsals begin August 24 and will run Monday through Thursday from 6:30–8:45 PM.

The production will run across four weekends: October 16–18, 23–25, 30–31, November 1, and 6-8, 2026, with performances Fridays at 7:00 PM and Saturdays and Sundays at 2:00 PM.

This dazzling show transports its audience from the twilight of the Russian Empire to the euphoria of Paris in the 1920s, as a brave young woman sets out to discover the mystery of her past. Pursued by a ruthless Soviet officer determined to silence her, Anya enlists the aid of a dashing con man and a lovable ex-aristocrat. Together, they embark on an epic adventure to help
her find home, love and family.
