ABOUT THE SHOW:
A farce in 3 acts concerns the novelist Charles Condomine who invites the clairvoyant Madame Arcati to his house to hold a séance, in the hope of gathering information for his new book. But after the séance, he becomes haunted by the ghost of his first wife, Elvira, who only he can see. She makes attempts to disrupt Charles's new marriage to Ruth, and high-jinx ensue. Originally this play opened in London’s West End in March 1941. Later that year it opened on Broadway.
